It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Albina Landry at Heywood Hospital in Gardner Ma. She peacefully fell asleep in death surrounded by her family.
Albina was born in New Brunswick, Canada March 8,1938 and was the daughter of late Regina(Leger) and Albenie Richard. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Valerie Richard, infant brother Donald Richard, sisters Delia Burke, Yvonne White, and Emily Leblanc. She will be greatly missed by her son Paul Landry and Rebecca Robshaw, daughters Lorraine and Martin Cotinaro, Rosemarie and Chester Morse, Kathleen Richard and Steven Terruso, and Rochelle and Justin Welniki.
Along with her children she leaves behind a sister Aline Beal, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Albina loved playing cards, playing bingo, knitting, her cat Simba, and spending time with family and friends.
Albina never met a stranger. To know her was to love her. She was a very positive person who saw good in everyone. She made light of everything and enjoyed making people laugh.
There will be no formal service. Calling hours will take place on Friday, September 18 at Eagles club, 71 City Hall Ave., Gardner, MA from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
