In Loving Memory of Suad Dizdarevic
Suad Dizdarevic, 80, passed away on September 10, 2026.
Originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Suad lived a life marked by resilience, family, friendship, and an enduring connection to the people and places that shaped him.
During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the early 1990s, Suad left his homeland with his children in search of safety and a new beginning. Their journey took them through Austria and Germany before they eventually made their home in the United States. In September 1999, Suad settled in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he lived for more than 25 years. During the final year of his life, he resided in Keene, New Hampshire.
Suad was the proud father of his daughter, Edna Dizdarevic, and his son, Nino Dizdarevic. Although he and the mother of his children divorced in 1996, the bond created through their family remained, and he continued to be loved and cared about by her throughout his life.
Those who knew Suad will remember his love of sports, especially soccer, and his enjoyment of being around people. He was a social person who formed friendships and connections wherever life took him—from Sarajevo to Austria, Germany, and eventually New Hampshire. Over the years, he met countless people, enjoyed conversation and companionship, and carried many memories and friendships with him.
His life was a journey across countries and through difficult times, but through it all, family remained an important part of his story. He will be deeply missed by his children, family, friends, and the many people whose lives crossed paths with his.
Funeral services for Suad were held on September 12, 2026, in Boscawen, New Hampshire, where family and loved ones gathered to honor his life and say their final goodbyes.
