LACONIA ---- Joseph R. Robinson, 48, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Joseph was born on February 17, 1978, in Arcadia, California, one of twin sons born to John Robinson, Sr. and Mary Sue (Short) Robinson. He loved California and often spoke of returning one day.
Joe cherished spending time with his children and family. He loved camping, being outdoors, and creating memories with those he loved most. Throughout his career, he held several different jobs, but the work he enjoyed most—and returned to often—was as a machinist at Stamping Technology. Joe had a vivid imagination, and anyone who knew him appreciated his unmistakable sarcastic sense of humor and mischievous spirit.
Joe is survived by his loving mother, Mary Sue Robinson; his wife, Ronica (Ladnier) Robinson of Laconia, New Hampshire; his sons, Bowie Robinson and his husband, Dan Campbell, of Mason, New Hampshire, Joseph Robinson, Jr. of Laconia, New Hampshire, and Oliver Robinson of Laconia, New Hampshire; his daughter, Emily Robinson of Laconia, New Hampshire; his twin brother, John Robinson, Jr. and his wife, Nicole, of Racine, Wisconsin; his sisters, Stacy Muñoz and her husband, Gary, of Upland, California, and Suzanne Williams and her husband, Mark, of North Smithfield, Rhode Island; his stepmother, Judith (Housand) Robinson; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Joe’s memory may make a memorial contribution to Boston Children’s Hospital, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215.
