
Marilyn (Kane) Feinberg, 91, of Leominster, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12.
She was the loving wife of the late Nathan "Harry" Feinberg and the devoted mother of Paula Feinberg-Zadek, Elliot Feinberg and his wife Mary, Steven Feinberg and his wife Amy, Cynthia Kessel and her husband Richard, and Jeffrey Feinberg and his wife Amy. She was the dear sister of Alan Kane and Dorothy Daigle and the late Estelle Kane, Commander William Kane, Lawrence Kane and Joyce Sprowson. Marilyn was also the adoring grandmother of 16 grandchildren and cherished great-grandmother of 13 great grandchildren.
Together with her late husband, the family owned Feinberg's Variety Store in Fitchburg. They were known for their kind service, attention to detail, delicious deli platters, and kosher catering services. Prior to her retirement, Marilyn served as a loan officer for Fitchburg Savings Bank. A gracious host who loved bringing people together, she found her greatest joy in cooking and entertaining for those she loved.
Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 15 at 11 AM. Donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association or any charity benefiting the State of Israel. The family will be sitting shiva at the home of Jeff and Amy Feinberg on Wednesday and Thursday from 5-8 PM.
