Egersheim, Karen L. (Maher) of Dedham, formerly of Boston passed on September 11, 2026 at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of the late James F. Loving mother of James Egersheim, Jr. and his wife Lori of Amherst, NH, Lisa Brown and her husband Stephen of Quincy, Ma. Also survived by her grandchildren, James III and his wife Milana, Jared, Michelle and her husband Jordan, Cassandra, Samantha, Brianna (pre-deceased), Benjamin, and her great grandson Silas.
Daughter of the late George & Gloria (McLean) Maher, sister of Steven Maher and his wife June of Merrimack, NH and his daughter Kasey L. and her daughter Ella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and relatives.
Karen was born and raised in Jamaica Plain. It is where she met her beloved husband James and many life long friends that she made from her days in the Drum and Bugle Corp.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury, on Wednesday, September 16 from 11:30AM - 1:30PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery immediately following.
