Sandra J. Vezina, 82, of Allenstown, NH, died in her home on Thursday, September 10, 2026. She was born May 2, 1944 in Everett, MA, daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Anderson) Emerson. She lived in Derry, NH for the past 46 years before moving to Allenstown, this past July. Sandra, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, retired from Hewlett Packard in 2009.
Sandra enjoyed trips to Maine, visiting the beach, walking the Boardwalk with her husband, reading, crossword puzzles, and playing solitaire on her computer. She also enjoyed her monthly lunch dates with longtime friend, Claire Haynes.
She is survived by her four daughters, Cherie Nickles and husband Brad of Mims, FL; Joanne Robichaud and husband Jay of Center Barnstead, NH; Cathy Hanlon and husband Dave of Francestown, NH and Charlene Vezina of Derry; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Vezina in 2025 and her sister Carol Chadbourne of South Carolina.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd from 9 - 10:30am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service will follow at 10:30am in the funeral home.
