Stephen Michael Frederick passed away on September 10th, 2026, at the age of 67. He was born on July 19, 1959 in Waltham MA, to parents Bud and Dorothy Frederick, and grew up in Lexington MA, with his siblings.
Steve graduated from Lexington High School in 1977. He married Bethany on January 25, 1992, and they lived together in Medford with their two daughters. He supported his family by working hard to grow his business, Stephen Frederick Contracting. Steve enjoyed fishing and camping, and found peace by being in nature.
Steve is survived by his wife, Bethany Frederick, his daughters, Jennifer Frederick (fiancé, Michael Ruiz) and Elizabeth Frederick, and his sister, Susan Widmer. He is also survived by many of his in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin (Bud) and Dorothy Frederick, and his brother, Paul Frederick.
Funeral services will be held at Beals-Geake Magliozzi Funeral home, in Medford, MA, followed by a burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, on September 15th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Woburn, MA.
