Luke S. Vicente, age 42, passed away on September 5, 2026. He was born on August 2, 1984, in Springfield. Luke grew up in Chicopee, attended Chicopee schools, and was a graduate of Chicopee High School, Class of 2002. He later graduated from Westfield State College.
Luke was a loving father, devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He had a way of bringing joy to the people around him, and his laughter, personality, and ability to make others smile will be deeply missed.
Luke was also an avid sports fan. He was a passionate Boston Celtics and Dallas Cowboys fan, and you could often find him proudly rooting for his teams. Sports were something he truly enjoyed and loved sharing with those around him.
Above all, Luke cherished his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved son, Jaxson Vicente of South Hadley; his parents, Jose and Adelina (Ascensao) Vicente of Chicopee; his sister, Krissy Lemke and her husband Scott of Chicopee; his two beloved nephews, Kaleb and Kamdyn of Chicopee; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him dearly.
Luke leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him. His love for his son and family, his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, his passion for his favorite sports teams, and the laughter he shared with others will always be remembered.
Although his time with us was far too short, Luke made an impact on the lives of many. He will continue to live on through his son, his family, his friends, and the countless memories they will carry with them. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.
