Patrick “Ricky” Gleeson of West Roxbury, formerly of Dedham passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2026. Beloved father of Devan Jones and his wife Mary of Plaistow, NH. Devoted son of Patrick V. Gleeson and the late Theresa M. (McCaig) Gleeson of Dedham. Dear brother of Donna Gleeson and her fiancé Christopher Dota of Dedham. Loving grandfather of Ryan Valentine Jones of Plaistow, NH. Adored uncle of Micaela Dumas and her husband Eric of Norwood. Great uncle of Isabella Dumas. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and additional extended family members.
Ricky graduated from Catholic Memorial in 1990, Avid Lover of Sports. He played Baseball and hockey throughout his youth and high school years. He found great joy in his life coaching his son in youth baseball and hockey and watching him play baseball in his collage years at Suffolk University.
Ricky will be remembered for his contagious laugh, his big smile and his love for family. Though our hearts are broken we find comfort and peace in the many memories we shared. Some of our fondest memories are going with family and friends to Point Sebago camping and up to Lake Winnipesaukee at our aunt’s cottage to name a few. He loved being a dad to Devan and becoming Pops to his Grandson Ryan, this brought him the greatest happiness in life.
Ricky’s legacy will live on though his son, Grandsons, Family & Friends.
