Shea, Esther Patricia (Barrett), 93, of Plymouth, on September 24th at Jordan Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Michael J. Shea, devoted mother of Lorraine Anusewicz and her husband Joseph “Skip” of Plymouth and Maria Sweeney of Quincy. Cherished sister of Margaret “Peggy” Miller of Yarmouth, loving grandmother of Debra Anusewicz, Joseph M. Anusewicz and his wife Amy and Meren Sweeney, adored great grandmother of J.P Anusewicz. She also leaves her sister-in-law Kathleen Barrett of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ambrose Barrett, Martin Barrett, Joseph Barrett, and her sisters May Cahill and Christine Shanahan. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday September 27th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 11AM followed by burial at Manomet Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 9:30 to 10:30 AM prior to the Mass.

Mrs. Shea was born March 11, 1913 in Ireland to the late John and Anne (O’Reilly) Barrett and graduated from high school in County Galway, Ireland.
She worked for New England Telephone Co. for over 15 years as a clerk and was a member of the Bonnie Seniors at St. Bonaventure's Church. She will always be remembered for her unwavering smile, her love of laughter and her kind spirit.
She died at the Jordan Hospital on September 24, 2006.
