SPRINGFIELD – Maryann (Bridges) Hale, 70, of the Glenwood section of Springfield and a lifelong resident of the city, was Called Safely Home on Monday, August 10, 2026. She passed into Eternal Life at her home surrounded by all of the memories that she loved and cherished. She was born in Springfield on Wednesday, November 9, 1955, a beloved daughter of the late Thomas F. and Eileen T. (Sullivan) Bridges. She was raised in Springfield where she graduated from Classical High School. She furthered her education and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, then received her Master’s Degree in Accounting from Western New England College in Springfield. She was an Accountant for many years for the Springfield Housing Authority. She leaves her extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving daughter, Merrilee Aurora Hale who was Called Home on November 20, 2017 and her dear brother, Thomas A. Bridges who was Called Home on December 6, 2010. A Committal Service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2027 at 1:30 p.m. at Saint Michael Cemetery, (please meet in Saint Rose Section), 1601 State Street, Springfield, MA 01109.
