Obituary


Ann Elizabeth Hedison, 76, passed away on August 31, 2026. Born on September 3, 1949, Ann was the daughter of Ralph Hedison and Esther Doherty. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose family was the center of her life.

Ann enjoyed a successful career in advertising sales, working as an advertising sales executive with the Granite State News in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Her outgoing personality and ability to connect with people served her well throughout her career and reflected the warmth and sociability she brought to her personal life.

Ann shared a special bond with her son, Bill, with whom she shared the same birthday. She was a loving mother-in-law to Christy and a deeply devoted grandmother to Hannah and Haven. She took great joy in spending time with her granddaughters and played an important role in their lives, creating many lasting memories through family traditions, holidays, outings, and everyday moments together.

Ann will be remembered for her outgoing personality, practical nature, generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family. She was happiest when the people she loved were together and was always looking for ways to create meaningful experiences for them.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph Hedison and Esther Doherty, and her brother, Billy.

Ann is further survived by her sister, Maureen Romanik; her son, Bill; her daughter-in-law, Christy; her granddaughters, Hannah and Haven; and other family members and friends who will miss her deeply. Her memory will live on through the family she loved and the many cherished memories they shared.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service conducted at the Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Greater Boston, 145 Brattle St., Cambridge, Saturday, September 12th, at 11 a.m. Arrangements by the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Service of Woburn.
