TILTON ---- Rev. Charles “Charlie” Raymond Morgan, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the Granite VNA Hospice House, Concord, NH.
Charlie was born on December 6, 1950, in Ellenville, NY, the son of the late Raymond Morgan and Abbie (Canfield) Morgan.
Charlie was a man of deep faith, genuine compassion, and an adventurous spirit. He devoted his life to serving God and caring for others, bringing encouragement, wisdom, and hope to everyone he encountered.
Charlie, an ordained Baptist, was the pastor for the Biker Church in the Weirs, blessing fellow motorcycle riders during the Laconia Motorcycle Week. He was also a chaplain for the American Legion Post 49, in Tilton, NH.
His love for Maryellen was followed by his love of riding motorcycles and preaching the word of God. For Rev. Charlie, a motorcycle was more than a way to travel—it was a chance to enjoy the open road, appreciate God’s creation, and experience the freedom of the journey. Whether riding alone in quiet reflection or traveling with friends, he found joy in every mile. He understood that life, like a long ride, was a journey best taken with faith, courage, and a willingness to enjoy the road along the way.
In addition to his parents, Charlie is predeceased by his wife Maryellen (Bevier) Morgan, who passed on March 11, 2023.
Though his earthly journey has come to an end, we take comfort in knowing that he has reached his eternal destination. May he now enjoy the greatest ride of all—home in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Praise Assembly of God Church, 180 School Street, Tilton, NH.
He will be laid to rest with his beloved Maryellen at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
