
Dana Jeffrey Hazel, 51, of Worcester died on August 24, 2026. Born in Newton, December 30, 1974, the son of the late David Hazel and Carol (Stoltz) Zullo.
Dana was raised in Westboro, Massachusetts, graduated from Westboro High School and had lived in Worcester.
Dana was a skilled professional painter and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, history and following Boston sports teams. He was an athlete who played hockey, football and baseball. He was a loyal friend to many, helping others before himself. He was known for his wittiness and sense of humor.
Dana is survived by his children Delainey Salek-Hazel, Destiney Salek-Hazel, Dalton Salek-Hazel and Deacon Salek-Hazel; his grandson Quincy Salek-Gomes; his sister Allyson (Hazel) Constantine; niece Julia Constantine and nephew Jack Constantine. He also leaves behind a circle of friends and cousins.
A private graveside ceremony will be held at Vine Lake Cemetery in Medfield.
