Palmer – Allan W. Miller, 40 of Palmer, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026 in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield after sustaining injuries from an unexpected accident.
Allan was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots, never missing an opportunity to watch a game. He enjoyed to be in nature and always looked forward to some quiet time while he was fishing or hiking, especially with his beloved dog, Duke. Allan was a fan of country music cherished many good memories with family and friends at the countless concerts he attended. Allan was a gun enthusiast, he was apart of the North Brookfield Sportsman’s Club and always performed very well. One of Allan’s happy places will always be York, Maine as he spent many years there in his family vacation home as a child and vacationing there with his own family as an adult. Most of all Allan loved being with his daughters, who he adored and loved with all of his heart and was always proud to be a “girl dad”.
Allan was born in Southbridge, son of Thomas Miller and Susan (David) St. Laurent. He graduated from Shephard Hill High School and currently worked as a production supervisor for the past 10 years at Viant Medical Company.
Allan is survived by his aunt Laura David of Millbury, who he considered as a mother figure and loved deeply. Allan also leaves his four children, Macaylah Foxx and her husband, Jayden of New Hampshire, Ariah Miller, Briellah Miller and Lylah Miller all of Palmer; his former wife and best friend of 20 years, Carly Miller of Palmer; his siblings, Elizabeth Fernandes of Paxton, William Miller of Paxton and Melissa Miller of Charlton; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins. Allan had many great friendships especially with Ed Stearns, Justin Landry, Kimberlie Milner, The Woodbury’s and his co-workers over the years.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 18, from 4 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel 33 Ward St. Worcester. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, September 19 at 10 AM in Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton where he will be laid to rest with his Pepere’ and his Memere David.
