East Bridgewater- Sylvia (Lombardi) Cicone, 97, of East Bridgewater, did Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at the Royal Megansett Nursing Home in North Falmouth. She was the wife of the late Frank Cicone.
Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Costonzo and Giacinta (Ricci) Lombardi.
A lifelong resident of East Bridgewater, she was a member of the Catholic Women's Club at St. John Church.
Mrs. Cicone worked as a store clerk at the lunch counter at Fernandez Market in East Bridgewater for 14 years.
She was active in the Senior's Club, helped with Meal's on Wheels and was a former member of the Board of Registars.
She was the mother of Lois Letourneau of Wareham, Robert Cicone of Maine and the late Donald Cicone; also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her Funeral will be from the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. John Church at 10 a.m. Burial in Central Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Tuesday 3-7 p.m.
