Marion Anita Melton

Marion Anita Melton, 95, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026 at The Waters of Chesterfield.
She was born on May 28, 1930 in Twinton, Tennessee, the daughter of McKinley and Auda Mae (Sells) Threet. She was employed for several years with National Tile. However, most of her time was spent as a homemaker, caretaker, and gardener.
She is survived by her children Deanna Zirkelback of Anderson, Terry "David" Ledbetter of Anderson, and L.G. (Linda) Ledbetter of Livingston, Tennessee; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, daughters Donna, Kathy and Pat, and sons, Mike and Larry.
The family has chosen cremation with final interment at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
