MEREDITH --- Eleanor Archibald, 87, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Golden View Health Care Center, in Meredith, NH.
Eleanor was born on July 8, 1939, in Laconia, NH, the daughter of the late Lionel Dupont and Mary (Lavernoich) Dupont.
Eleanor was the office administrator for MOLEX. She enjoyed quilting, reading and doing word searches.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter Christine Archibald and her wife Darcy Crisp; son Peter Dupont (and late wife Lori); grandchildren Ashley Dupont, Whittney Dalton, Amber Gibbons, Lexus LaFoe; six great-grandchildren; as well as her beloved cat Tiggy. In addition to her parents, Eleanor is predeceased by her husband Howard Michael “Mike” Archibald; brother James R. Dupont; and sister Frances White; and her beloved dog Happy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at the Tardiff Park, 51 Cresent Street, Laconia, NH.
Eleanor will be laid to rest in the family plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
