SACO- Paul Dana Dunn, 64, of Saco, Maine, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on August 22, 2026.
Born on September 11, 1961, in Buxton, Maine, Paul was the son of the late Ensley and Lucille Dunn. He graduated from Bonny Eagle High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Coast Guard.
Paul was first married to Karen, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage and welcomed two children, Colleen and Dana Dunn. He later married Diane, the love of his life, and they remained devoted to one another until her passing in 2024.
For more than 20 years, Paul worked at Southern Maine Specialties, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable employee. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple things—spending time fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and watching professional wrestling. Above all else, Paul's greatest happiness came from being with his family. He treasured every moment spent with those he loved and created lasting memories that will continue to be cherished.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Ensley and Lucille Dunn; his beloved wife, Diane Dunn; his daughter, Colleen Dunn; and his sister, Marilyn.
He is survived by his son, Dana Dunn; his stepchildren, John and Nicole; his brothers, Dave and Donny Dunn; and his cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Naomi, Zack, Dominic, and Cooper, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at 27 Skyline Drive, Saco, Maine. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Paul's life, share memories, and celebrate the love he had for those closest to him.
Paul will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of the outdoors, his unwavering dedication to his family, and the kindness he showed to those fortunate enough to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
