ViAnne Lehman
August 4, 1956- August 18, 2026


2 Corinthians 5:8 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!

With an answer to our prayers of healing for ViAnne Lehman, she is free of pain and looked in the eyes of Jesus as He held her and welcomed her to Heaven. She has been planning for this since she accepted Him into her heart at an early age. Her arrival that was planned just for her was on August 18, 2026, with her devoted husband, Sheldon R. Lehman by her side.

ViAnne Lehman, was born August 4, 1956, in Warsaw, Indiana to loving parents, Richard and Violette (Hayes) Stroup.. She is in the presence of family and friends who proceeded her along with her parents, her youngest brother Nathan Randall (Randy), and niece Shelby Aleene Sharp.

She has one sister, Sheree Sharp (Barry) and younger brother, Rick Stroup.

She was married to the love of her life, Sheldon Lehman on December 22, 1977 in Salem, Oregon.

Survived by their children, Nathan (Annette), Ricky Ray, Samuel (Alivia), Shelley Buck (Logan). The joy of her life was their grandchildren, Nora Anne, Evelyn Noel, Hayes Christian, Nehemiah Lawrence, Gideon Mark, Isaiah Ray Lehman, and Conway Wesley Buck. She also loved her sister’s family here in Anderson her nephew Zachary (Jodi) Sharp, their children, Elijah, Makenzie, and Kamryn. Her niece Shannon (Mitch) Pettigrew and their little boy Milo. Spending family time
was a natural occurrence in both households for holidays and birthdays.

She will be remembered for love and devotion to her family and friends. Her courage and grace she showed through her battle with cancer was felt and seen by all who knew her.

She and Sheldon attended East Side Church of God for many years. She loved landscaping their yard and working out and swimming with her friends at LivRite Fitness in Anderson. She crocheted (Christmas stockings for the kids in the family), and her love for reading was obvious to all her knew her.

Services will be held at East Side Church of God on August 28 with viewing before the service at the church from 11:00 -1:00. Service will be at 1:00 with Pastor Kerry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery across from Anderson University.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Community Hospital Anderson Foundation; designated to cancer/oncology; 1515 N. Madison Ave, Anderson, IN 46011.
