Haynes Lee Wynn, 85, Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, August 17, 2026, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held, 11 AM, Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Rick Walker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Wynn was born January 8, 1941, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Robert Lee & Dora Annette Vickers Wynn. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1960 and retired from Delphi as an electrician. After retiring from Delphi, he worked with Chip Dorminy, farming. A simple man, he loved hunting, fishing, working in his yards and gardening. Mr. Wynn had a heart of gold and was always helping widowers by bringing them vegetables he had grown in his garden.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Alice Walker Wynn, of Fitzgerald; two sisters: Joann Barrs of Ocilla and Judy Roberts of Douglas; two sisters-in-law: Peggy Gentry of Douglas and Nancy Fletcher of Fitzgerald; a brother-in-law, Rick Walker & Joy of Daytona Beach, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Wynn; three brothers-in-law: Elder Jerry Barrs, Elder Harold Roberts and Ellis Walker and a sister-in-law, Ann Wynn.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.
