Francis A. “Frank” Witkus, of Medford, August 16th. Beloved husband of Sheila (Cullen) Witkus. Father of Matthew Witkus and his wife Lauren of East Boston, Laurie Witkus of Medford, Jocelyn Witkus and her husband John Morgan II of Blue Ridge, Georgia and the late Paul Witkus. Grandfather of Anthony and Tyler Donovan and John Morgan III. Brother of John Witkus and his wife Lisa of Mashpee and the late Charles Witkus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Frank was raised and educated in Dorchester. He is a graduate of Northeastern University. He began his career in management at Stone & Webster, serving the company for 29 years. He then took a position at the Tufts University Library, retiring after 25 years of service. He was known to be one of the last true gentlemen. Frank and his wife Sheila celebrated 53 years of marriage this year. Together they raised four children, witnessing their accomplishments throughout the years, and welcomed 3 grandchildren. Relatives & friends are invited to attend visitation at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Thursday August 20th from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by his Funeral Mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM.
