Obituary

Stafford Springs, CT – Louis A. Primeau, 88, formerly of Worcester and Dennis died on Sunday September 24, in Johnson Memorial Hospital after an illness.

Mr. Primeau is predeceased by his wife Edna L. (Largesse) Primeau who died in 2005. He is survived by two sons Roger L. Primeau of Yarmouth, ME and Gil V. Primeau of Plymouth, MA; a daughter Diane L. Pierce of Enfield, CT; three sisters Alice Bousquet and Lorraine Richard both of Worcester and Eva Sullivan of Auburn; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Primeau was born in Sutton, MA son of Frank and Eugenie (Morin) Premo.

He is a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Mr. Primeau worked as a district manager for the K-Mart Corporation before his retirement.

Mr. Primeau was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed going to Foxwoods.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday September 27, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 11 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Worcester. A calling period will be held from 9 to 10:30 in the funeral home before the funeral. The family request that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made in Mr. Primeau’s name to the Home and Community Health Services Inc. - Hospice Program PO Box 1199 Enfield, CT 06083.
