LAWRENCE – Rita B. (Michaud) Wallace Deacy, age 84 died Saturday September 23, 2006 at the Wingate at Andover.
Born and educated in Lawrence, where she lived most of her life. For many years she was employed as a switchboard operator at Abbott Academy, now known as Phillips Academy in Andover. She was also employed at Letourneau’s Pharmacy. She was an attendant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, St. Augustine’s Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was an avid crafter and cake decorator, which she enjoyed making for family and friends.
The widow of William J. Wallace and also Leonard F. Deacy.
She is survived by 2 sons, William J. Wallace and his wife Eileen of Methuen and John M. Wallace and his partner Steve St.Onge of Saint John Virgin Island.

Sisters Rachael Voiland, Dorothy Lamontagne both of Methuen, Ida Beaulieu and husband Charlie, Theresa Beauchesne and husband Raymond, Joan Lafontaine and husband Mickey all of New Hampshire, Bella Michaud of Lawrence, Fran Leblanc and husband Gene of Florida.
2 grandchildren Jamie and Lynne Wallace of Methuen, MA
She was predeceased by brothers and sister Archie, Marty Michaud, and Lucille Pomerleau. She was also the mother of the late Gary Wallace.
Several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Augustine Chapel in Lawrence, MA.
