Kallenberg, Philip “Phil” of Dedham, age 52, passed away on August 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with Stage IV cancer. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many.
For 30 years, Phil proudly worked for Ford, where he built a career and friendships that became an important part of his life. He was a hardworking man who took pride in the life he built and the people he surrounded himself with.
Those who knew Phil will remember his great smile and his incredible sense of humor. He had a way of making people laugh and could bring a smile to the faces of those around him. He was a devoted Star Wars fan, loved rock music, and his favorite rock bands, enjoyed a good game of poker, and appreciated a drink and a smoke with friends. More than anything, he valued the friendships he made throughout his life and was lucky to have so many great friends who shared countless laughs, memories, and good times with him.
Philip never married, but he was surrounded by family and loved ones. He leaves behind his mother, Tuenchai Kallenberg; his twin sister, Arline Doherty; and his older brother, William Kallenberg. He was a proud uncle to his nephews, Hunter and Chase Doherty, and his niece, Emma Kallenberg. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Kallenberg, who passed away in 2009.
Though his life was far too short, Philip leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, friendship, and stories that will continue to be shared by those who loved him. His family and friends will remember him not for the illness that took his life, but for his infectious smile and the way he made life a little more fun for the people around him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
May the Force be with him, always.
