Peter James Whall died after a brief illness on August 13th 2026, just short of his 75th birthday. Peter was a retired mason who worked for many years for Phoenix Bay State Construction Company and a talented carpenter who in his younger years meticulously worked to restore his older home in Framingham, Massachusetts.
He was a brilliant and opinionated man, a great reader and conversationalist, a collector of books, record albums, and interesting objects which he sometimes sold to others who shared his sensibilities.
He is survived by his children Daniel and Claire, his brothers and sisters: Bill, Mark, Helen, Joe (Kathy), Tom (Susan), Mary, and Elizabeth (Chris).
He will also be greatly missed by his loyal friend Mike who stayed by his side until the end and his cat Jacqui.
