Brad Bryant, 49, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday at First Baptist Church, Fitzgerald with the Rev. Kelly Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM on Sunday at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Bryant was born September 9, 1957 in Fitzgerald to the late Lorenzo K. Bryant and Helen Wester Bryant. Mr. Bryant had lived in the community all of his life and was employed by Delphi Energy Management Systems for the last 2 years. He was former owner and operator of Bryant Brothers Inc. in Fitzgerald. Mr. Bryant was a 1976 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and was an avid supporter of his daughters’ school activities. Mr Bryant loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of the Booster Club and supporter of the Purple Hurricanes. Mr. Bryant attended First Baptist Church and was a member of the Sportsman Sunday School Class.
Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife, Susan Whelchel Bryant, Fitzgerald, daughters, Bonnie Bryant and Bailee Bryant, Fitzgerald, three brothers, Bob Bryant, Ben Bryant, Bill Bryant , sister, Beth Albritton, all of Fitzgerald. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
