DUDLEY – Thomas James “Tommy” Haskins, 52, formerly of Dudley, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.
He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was born on June 25, 1974 in Worcester and raised in Dudley the son of Charles T. “Tom” and Judeann M. (Hetherman) Haskins and was a 1998 graduate of Shepherd Hill Regional High School.
Tommy was a greeter at Walmart for 27 years retiring in 2022.
He was a avid fan of the New York Yankees and New England Patriots. He also enjoyed country music, concerts and any type of outings. He loved being with family and friends. His infectious smile could light up a room. Nothing put a damper on his spirit. He was kind and compassionate to anyone who came into his life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the kind and compassionate caregivers of the Spencer group home in Spencer where Tommy spent his final years.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 22 in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road. Burial will be held privately. A calling period will take place in Saint Anthony of Padua church hall prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. The family requests that flowers be omitted and instead donations in his memory may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
