Keith David Alexander
December 27, 1953- August 3, 2026
Keith David Alexander, 72, of Anderson, passed away August 3, 2026 from pneumonia at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. He had been courageously battling physical setbacks and cancer and had previously overcome multiple illnesses. Throughout his health challenges, he demonstrated remarkable strength, resilience, and determination.
He was born on December 27, 1953 in Anderson, the son of Arthur and Marilyn (Davidson) Alexander. He was a 1972 graduate of Anderson High School and 1976 graduate of Indiana University. He worked as a master carpenter throughout his career. As a perfectionist, he took great pride in his craftsmanship and said his favorite part of the job was making everything look good.
Keith was a talented, well-rounded athlete growing up. He enjoyed spending time with friends and discussing future projects, especially with his daughter and brothers. Many people sought his expertise and advice. He also like solving Sudoku, watching old movies, and critiquing sports and home improvement shows. Plus, he was always willing to share a warm Bud.
He is survived by his wife, Terra Skinner; his two daughters, Kerra (Matt) Sullivan, Kelyn Alexander; two brothers, Dennis (Pam) Alexander and Tom (Stacy) Alexander; grandson, Keagan Szegedy; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, niece, Delana Alexander, and many close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 3-7 p.m. at 40/8 Voiture 510; 1600 Rangeline Road; Anderson, IN.
