Brent Eugene Ridge

Brent E. Ridge, 74 passed away on July 3, 2026 at home in Ventura, California. He was born on December 31, 1951, to Eugene and Arlene (Dellinger) Ridge in Los Angeles, California.
On April 4, 1981, he married Paula Wilcox. Together they shared 45 years of marriage and shared a love for baseball, exercise, music, and simple living.
Brent was a loyal friend and devoted supporter of his family and friends, who valued his kindness and honesty.
He will be remembered for his enduring support of the Los Angeles Dodgers, minor league baseball, gardening, music, and progressive thinking. Residents of Ventura will always remember him as the bicyclist that rode to work every day for over 30 years. Brent was a dedicated employee of Ventura County where he worked in the courts and assessor’s office providing fair and honest service to his community.
Brent is survived by his wife, Paula Wilcox, her immediate family; his brothers, Barry (Linda) and Bruce (Marlene), and many nieces and nephews.
Brent’s wishes will be honored as he will be terramated with no plans for a funeral service.
