Isidoro Olivares Ledesma, 66, of Fitzgerald, died August 3, 2026, at his residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Olivares was born March 28, 1960, in Cortazar Gto, Mexico to the late Antonio Olivares Vasques & Marie Guadalupe Ledesma. He was affectionally known to the community as the “Pine Straw Man.” Mr. Olivares was loved by the community and loved being a grandpa. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Victor Hujo (Magda), Omar Olivares (Blanca) both of Cortazar Gto, Mexico and Ivan Olivares (Tiera) of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Omar Olivares, Lupita & Brittany Olivares, Kenia Olivares all of Cortazar Gto, Mexico, Christina Olivares, Ashley Olivares, Natalie Olivares, Christian Olivares, Harmony Olivares & Eli Olivares all of Fitzgerald; great grandchildren: Ava Kelly and Mia Kelly of Fitzgerald.
