
Glenn Earl DiMasse, age 64, of Revere passed away on Sunday, August 2nd, at Reading Center for Health and Rehabilitation. Raised and educated in Lynn, he was the son of the late Josephine (DiMasse) Burnett. Glenn lived in Medford and Stoneham, and spent the last 12 years in Revere.
Glenn was a proud member of Laborer’s Local 22 where he worked for 30 years. Throughout his career he was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty and dedication. Glenn will be remembered as a man with a huge heart. He was generous, loyal and always willing to help those around him. Glenn’s kindness, strength and unforgettable spirit will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Boxing was one of Glenn’s greatest passions. He became involved in the sport at just nine years old, and it remained important throughout his life. His greatest joy and the true love of his life was his daughter Gianna. Nothing meant more to him than being her father, and the love and pride he had for her were immeasurable.
Glenn was the devoted father of Gianna DiMasse, and loving partner of Judy Santeusanio. He was the dear brother of Lisa Ghiozzi and her late partner Gene, Brian Burnett, and the late Cynthia Burnett. Glenn was the cherished uncle of David Ghiozzi and Daniella McMaster, and is survived by his former wife Robin DiMasse and her fiancé Ed Dyer, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and lifelong friends.
A funeral service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, August 7th at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be private.
