
SANFORD- Audrey Marie Rodrigue, age 63, passed away on July 30, 2026 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME after a lifelong progression of multiple sclerosis.
She was born in Holyoke, MA on March 28, 1963, daughter of the late Elaine (Savoie) and Richard Rodrigue, but spent most of her childhood in Milton Mills, NH. She graduated from Nute High School, Keene State College, and Marist College with a Master's Degree in Counseling. She worked in various Human Service agencies in New Hampshire as a psychotherapist specializing in HIV, persistent mental illness, and substance abuse.
Audrey was a strong advocate for Human Rights, attending many rallies and marches in Washington DC. She loved sports in school, gardening, canoeing, knitting, playing the trumpet, but most of all spending time with her two grandsons.
Audrey is survived by her beloved partner of 26 years, Beverly Walsh; her daughter and son-in law Alicia and Joseph Dunleavey and their sons Caleb and Owen; also by sisters Elizabeth and her husband Jamie Sanborn; Maureen and her husband John Chiarella; Michelle Rodrigue; Jennifer Rodrigue; and brother David and his wife Jodi Rodrigue; and many nieces and nephews.
Audrey is a kind, compassionate, loving and giving spirit. We are heartbroken at her passing.
