Obituary

TILTON ---- Raynald “Ray” Albert Bouley, 74, of Laconia Road, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Ray was born on October 17, 1951, in Nashua, NH, the son of the late Richard A. Bouley and Priscilla (Lavallee) Bouley. He was a graduate of Alvrine High School.

Ray mastered his career in fine optics for well over 40 years, working for Diversified Optics and Axsys Technologies. He was also the co-owner of Winnisquam Country Gifts, for over 34 years, alongside his wife Linda.

Ray found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether he was out in the woods hunting, casting a line into his favorite fishing spot, or spending hours tinkering in the garage or fixing something around the house. He was happiest with his hands busy and a project to work on. He also enjoyed his time up to his camp in Maine. He loved spending time with the family at the camp. That camp was his happy place with his favorite people by his side.

He will be remembered for his warm heart, his dependable nature, and the pride he took in caring for his home and those he loved. His life was a reminder that happiness is often found in the little things—a peaceful morning outdoors, the satisfaction of fixing something with your own hands, and time spent with the people who matter most. Ray's quiet wisdom, steady presence, and generous spirit created a lasting legacy of hard work, perseverance, and compassion.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda (Holm) Bouley; daughter Lynnae Corbeil; brother Dennis Bouley and his wife Jen; sisters Sue Gerry and her husband Gardner, and Elaine Bouley and her husband Mike; grandchildren Camden Corbeil and Evan Corbeil; sisters-in-law Nan Case and Mary Lou Sevigny; brother-in-law Wayne Holm; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Time of Sharing will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor his memory to spend time outdoors, cast a fishing line, take a walk through the woods, or help someone in need—just as Ray so often did.
