It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of James Taylor.
James was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother, and best friend. He was survived by his only living son, Steven, his wife, Ashley Taylor, and their children of Quincy. He was also survived by his late son, Christopher Taylor, and his children of Hanson and Michigan. James was also survived by his lifelong best friend, Sandy, her husband, Dan, and their late son, Matthew Gaudiano of Hanson.
James was the son of the late James and Carol (Daly) Taylor. He was also survived by his siblings, Larry, Gerri, Paula, Mikey, and Kelly, and an abundance of grandchildren and nieces and nephews whom he adored.
James was widely known as Jimmy, and friends affectionately referred to him as Maxwell and “the guy with the coffee” due to his love for coffee (and the fact that he always had TWO coffees at all times). Despite fighting a long battle with cancer, he was called Home and peacefully passed away in his sleep on July 31, 2026.
James will be cremated, and a small celebration of his life will be held in his honor.
