LACONIA ---- Melinda Ann Bastraw, 55, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026.
A lifelong resident of Laconia, Mindy was born in Laconia on January 8, 1971, the daughter of Timothy Molan and Camille (Twitchell) Bailey.
Mindy was the one with the biggest smile and infectious giggle that would light up every room she entered. She was a free spirit and never afraid to be herself. She would drop everything for family and friends if they needed her. She touched many hearts. Her 2 boys were her greatest loves. Mindy, you will be missed by so many.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Ian Bastraw and Evan Bastraw, a brother Kevin Molan, a sister, Michele Lanoie; an aunt and uncle, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Mindy was pre deceased by her grandparents, Keith and Jeannette Twitchell, Edward and Victoria Molan, and her step-mother Sandra Molan.
A private family burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, NH.
