WORCESTER-Michael Luong, 64, of 18A Merriwether Road, died Friday, September 22nd, in the Hospice Residence. His wife, Mui Lu, died in 2004. He leaves 3 sons, Jack Luong of Rutland, Stephen and Huy Luong, both of Worcester; 2 daughters, Nga Luong of Rosemeade, CA, and Hang Luong of Worcester; his mother, Ngan Tang; a brother, Ha Tang both of Worcester and 9 grandchildren.
Mr. Luong was born in Vietnam, his father was the late Noan Luong and moved here in 1979. He was a machine operator for many years, retiring from Montrose Wire Co. in 2004.
The funeral service is Monday, September 25th, at 1:00 P.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Cremation will follow. Calling hours are Sunday, September 24th, from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Linh Son Temple, 16 Ruthven Avenue, Worcester, MA 01606.
