Charles “Junior” Harper, 90, of Adel passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bowen- Donaldson Home for Funerals, where Mr. Harper’s family will receive friends and guests.
Mr. Harper was born in Worth County on May 17, 1936, to the late Charlie Moses Harper and Bobbie Howell Harper. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. In his free time, Mr. Harper loved fishing, spending time with everyone he loved and cared for, and visiting the Sparks Community Center.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harper is preceded in death by one daughter; Pamela Harper, and several brothers and sisters; Mary Lou Isdell, Lorene Black, Bessie Nell Ogletree, Laura Ogletree, Emma Harper, Pete Harper, and Bob Harper.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law; Tony and Lahoma Harper of Moultrie, his grandsons; Brent Youmans and Corey Dent, one great-grandson; Tyson Youmans, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
