Peter Dobbins Hagearty, 60, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Thursday July 30, 2026 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. Peter was born in Hartford, CT, a son of the late Mildred (Dobbins) Conlon and John F. Hagearty, Jr. He was raised and educated in West Hartford, CT and was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Peter and his family have been residents of Londonderry, NH since 1997.
For the past 5 years, Peter worked as the Director of Technical Operations at Mercury Systems. He enjoyed traveling with his family and restoring classic cars with his son. He also liked playing chess, boating, and spending the summers at Crescent Lake in Wolfeboro, NH.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Julia (Russ) Hagearty; his daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Jude Hagearty; and his son, Patrick Dobbins Hagearty; his father, John F. Hagearty, Jr. and his partner Elaine Gilman of West Wardsboro, VT; his sister, Sarah (Hagearty) Nalbantian and her husband Serge Nalbantian of Philadelphia, PA; and his brother, John F. Hagearty, III of Farmington, CT.
After cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 4, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Burial will follow at Pillsbury Cemetery in Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
