Keith, Joan E. (Lang) of Dedham and Nantucket, MA died in Bedford, NH on July 23, 2026.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, wingman, and travel partner, Larry Keith, sons Mark Keith and Stephen Keith, and daughter-in-law, Linda Keith. She is survived by Kent Keith (Linda), Pamela Keith, Linda Phelps (Rick), 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was born in Boston in 1937 to John T and Elizabeth J (Reid) Lang. She attended Regis college before starting a family and being a dedicated homemaker.
Loving wife, mother, and Yaya. Food was love, especially dessert! She read cookbooks like novels. Loved to cook and bake and enjoyed and shared every bite. She was an expert gardener with nuanced wisdom of every season. She was a gifted craftswoman who shared her love of creating. She wore Poppy Silk Red lipstick, watered down the hand soap, and drank HOT tea. She loved the Red Sox, her catholic faith and Irish heritage, and her family.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd, Bedford, NH on Monday, September 21, at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Private interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA.
