Worcester - Arthur C. “Artie” Hall, 76, of Davenport, FL and a former longtime Worcester resident, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, July 24, 2026.
Art joins his wife of 50 years Donna Jean “Erickson” Hall who passed away on August 17, 2023. Art was born in West Boylston MA son of Harold C and Julie “Hilburt” Hall on November 19, 1949. Art is survived by a brother Gary W. Hall and his predeceased wife Sandra “Grout” Hall of Holden, and sister Patricia L. “Hall” Jess and brother in law Guy Jess of Auburn.
Artie graduated from West Boylston JR-SR high school in 1967. He served in the navy during Vietnam from 1968-1971, He retired from Wyman Gordon Co in 2012 after 32 years.
Art was predeceased by his mother in law Gertrude Erickson, Brother in law John Erickson, Sister in law Carol Bain and her husband Thomas, and sister in law Sandra Erickson.
He leaves 2 sister in laws Nancy Hicks and her husband Robert, Kim Chaisson and her husband Robert, 4 brother in laws Rodney Erickson, Allen Erickson and his wife Debbie, Richard Erickson, and James Erickson. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to VITAS healthcare for all the love and support they provided.
Art and Donna enjoyed trips to Florida, Casinos, and Old Orchard Beach. They loved their animals and family.
A funeral service will be held for Arthur on August 4th at 11 am in the Dirsa - Morin Memorial Chapel 298 Grafton St. Worcester. Burial with military honors will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on August 3rd from 6pm to 8pm in the funeral home.
