
CHICOPEE – Greige T. Kareh, 76, of the Chicopee Falls section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, July 25, 2026. He passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Zgharta, Lebanon on November 14, 1949, a beloved son of the late Tannous and Badra (Kortobani) Kareh. He was raised and educated in Lebanon and had lived in Lebanon for many years before moving to Chicopee in 2010. He was employed in auto sales for many years. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He leaves his beloved wife, Mariette (Zalloua) De El Kareh; his three loving sons, Gregory Kareh and his wife, Andrea, of Wellington, FL, Edgar El Kareh and his wife, Amanda, of Palm Beach, FL and Anthony Kareh and his fiancée, Faith Hoynoski, of Chicopee; his four cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Natalia Kareh and Conrad and Clara El Kareh; his brothers and sisters in Lebanon; and his many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. His funeral services will be private and his burial will be private in Lebanon. There are no visiting hours.
