Mildred A. Gage, 89, of Derry, NH, passed away Saturday July 25, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 21, 1937 in Haverhill, MA, a daughter of the late Wilfred and Catherine “Thelma” (LaFoe) Richardson.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert III and Kristina Gage and James and Barbara Gage; three grandsons, Garrett Gage and his wife Amanda, Marshall Gage, and Nicholas Gage and his partner Michaela; one great granddaughter, Lila; two sisters, Penny Collins and Judy Robinson, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband Gilbert Gage, Jr in 1989 and two sisters, Beverly Gage and Janice Lacourse.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry ( located behind First Parish Congregational Church). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beth Israel Lahey Health at Home Hospice, Rockingham Division, 4 Alumni Drive, Exeter, NH 03833.
