
James M. Campbell, 66, of Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Carol (Massicotte) Fournier Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was born in New Bedford, son of the late Elizabeth (Aumann) Bednarik and the late Benny Bednarik and had been a longtime resident of Dartmouth. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to retirement, he worked as a mechanic for Johnson & Johnson, Taunton. One of his favorite pastimes was watching Sammy, a beautiful dog he loved dearly. He enjoyed sitting in his sun room enjoying a good cigar. He will be remembered for his generosity
Survivors include his step-son: Marcel Fournier of E. Taunton; his step-daughter: Kimberly Fournier of Fall River; step-grandson: Justin Fournier; aunt and uncle: John and Anna Aumann of New Bedford; and many in-laws who he was very loved by; and nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Steven Campbell, step-brother of the late Joseph Bednarik and step-grandfather of the late Nicholas Ouellette.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at the Potter Funeral Home from 9-11 A.M.
Interment is private.
