Marybeth Roberts, devoted mother, grandmother, wife and friend, 55, of Chester, NH, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 27, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
Marybeth was born in Lawrence, MA on October 26, 1970, to proud parents Donna and David Blanchette.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Timothy Roberts; children Jesse Blanchette, Shauna Hurley, and Steven Hurley; bonus children Shelby Roberts, Jake Roberts and Justin Roberts; Grandson Lincoln; her beloved dogs Rutledge and Ace; brother David Blanchette and sister-in-law Vanessa Blanchette, and countless extended family members and friends.
Marybeth was a dedicated mail carrier for the town of Atkinson for the past 27 years. She made deep connections and relationships with all of her customers throughout her career. She spent many years teaching fitness classes and yoga, encouraging others to be the best versions of themselves. Her vivacious energy was magnetic and unforgettable.
Marybeth/MB/Mom/Gaia was sunshine, she was joy, she was love. She spread happiness everywhere she went. To know her was to love her. Marybeth cherished spending time with her family above all else, motorcycle rides and shooting guns with her Timmy, her dogs, yoga, music, fitness, bumblebees on flowers, peanut butter, pickles, snoopy, overpriced coffees, singing, laughing, and smiling.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and beautiful memories that will never be forgotten. Though her time here was far too short, the impact of Marybeth’s life will live on forever. Please spread some kindness in her memory.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. A memorial service will follow at 6:30pm in the funeral home.
Marybeth would want everyone to celebrate her, not mourn her. Please wear happy colors.
