Robert F. Ross, 60, of Fitzgerald, died Friday, September 22, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, September 24, at Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev. Emory Champion officiating.
Mr. Ross was born May 20, 1946, in Mitchell County, Georgia, to the late Edward and Lucinda Ricks Ross. He grew up in Camilla and Americus, was a former resident of Atlanta and lived in Fitzgerald for the past seven years. Mr. Ross was a former truck driver with McClellan Truck Lines. He was a member of the First Assembly Of God.
He is survived by his wife: Laura A. Ross of Fitzgerald; children: Joshua Eugene Alday of Fitzgerald, Lorie Ann Hartley of Pelham, Rebecca Ann Ross of Brunswick, Cindy Lynn Ross of Waycross, Robert Fray Ross, Jr., Michael Travis Ross and Jammie Jane Ross, all of Brunswick and 5 grandchildren.
