With heavy hearts, but faith in God's eternal promise, we announce the passing of Sister Suzette Bernard, who entered peacefully into eternal rest on Wedneday, July, 22, 2026, at the age of 85.
Sister Suzette was born on July 19, 1941 in Cartier-Morin, Haiti. She lived a life deeply rooted in faith, love, compassion, and devotion to her family. She was a faithful servant of God whose kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of many through every season of life.
Sister Suzette trusted in the Lord and found joy in caring for others, offering wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. She was a devoted mother, a beloved grandmother, and a treasured member of her church of the Body of Christ. She found true peace in prayer, strength in faith, and happiness in spending time in the presence of her family.
Sister Suzette is survived by her daughter, Myrlande, her cherished grandchildren, Patrice, Carla, Jaida her beautiful cousins Joseline, Kettie and Edith.
While our hearts mourn this earthly loss, we take comfort in knowing that Sister Suzette now rests in the loving arms of the Lord. Her legacy of faith, love, strength, and devotion will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her. May Sister Suzette rest in eternal peace, and may God's grace bring comfort to all who are mourning.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hour on Friday July 31, 2026 from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Religious Service at 9:30 AM in Faith Christian Church, 301 Harvard Street, Dorchester, MA 02124. Burial wikk be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA.
