Obituary

LEICESTER: Marion L. (Gilbert) Eddy Lauder, 88, of 528 Pleasant St., passed
away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Sept. 21 in the house that her
father built and is now with the Lord.
She was the wife of Rickidie A. Lauder who died in 1968, her first husband
Lewis M. Eddy died in 1942. She leaves two daughters Elizabeth E. (Eddy)
Williams and her husband E.Thomas of Hardwick, and Jane E. (Lauder) Horuzek
and her husband Richard of Worcester, four sons Robert G. Lauder and his
wife Robin, Richard A. Lauder and his wife Linda, Thomas A. Lauder and his
wife Susan and Douglas K. Lauder and his wife Caroline all of Leicester, her
daughter in law Kim Lauder of Millbury, a brother Arthur E. Gilbert of
Louisville, Ky., 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. She is predeceased by her son Terry D. Lauder in 2002, and two
brothers Rodney and Stuart Gilbert.
Born in Leicester she was the daughter of A.Eugene and Carrie(White) Gilbert
and lived here all of her life.
Mrs. Lauder once worked at the former Colby's Bakery in Rochdale for 20
years. She was the oldest living member of Greenville Baptist Church where
she served on the Woman's Fellowship (Treasurer), and Kitchen Committee. She
once was active in the FISH Program and also visited shut-ins.
She graduated from Greenville Elementary School and Leicester Academy.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Sept. 25, at 11a.m. in Greenville
Baptist Church, 700 Pleasant St., Rochdale. Burial will follow in Greenville
Baptist Cemetery. Calling hours at the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131
Main St.,Leicester are Sunday, Sept. 24 from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be made to Greenville Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 682
Pleasant St., Rochdale, Ma. 01542.
