Obituary

Antonio C. Sandoval “Tony”

Passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026. Antonio was born on March 13, 1934 in Sayula, Mexico to Jesus and Francisca Sandoval
By the age of 8 he was living in Ventura, CA, better known as Tortilla flats with his family. He joined the Army in 1954 and served until 1957 with the 11th Airborne infantry. He was a proud veteran and loved to talk about his days jumping. His last jump was in 1997. After he came back from his service, he then met his true love Carmen Sandoval and married in 1967 and had a daughter named Vivien. Together they were married 51 wonderful years. He worked for Northrop Grumman for over 25 years and retired as a metal paint sprayer.
Antonio “Tony” Sandoval loved his family and enjoyed going to all the family gatherings, air shows and car shows. When it came to vacations he always made it adventurous by always taking us by unknown routes and we always managed to get to our destination. He enjoyed music and loved to dance, so any occasion he had he was always on the dance floor with Carmen or family members. He would always try to make people laugh & smile, that’s just the way he was, he enjoyed life.

In his later years he was committed to his fellow paratroopers participating in The Rakkasans, VFW and the American Legion. Together they would participate in parades; BBQ’s and be there for their fallen vets families.

He preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Francisca Sandoval, son Antonio Gerard and beloved wife Carmen Sandoval.
Antonio survived by his daughter Vivien Sandoval-Bozzo and husband Michael
Brothers Jess Sandoval and George Sandoval
His Daughter wants to give a special thanks to his caretakers Albert, Amelia, Johnetta, Mary and Luisa for taking special care of him these last years. You were all a blessing at a time of need I will never forget. Thank you.
