Valerie Leann Willis Bentley, 45, of Irwinville passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Valerie at a later date.
Born March 4, 1981, in Albany, Valerie was the daughter of Ann Mercer Davis of Irwinville and the late Larry J. Willis. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marion and Geraldine Harden.
Valerie was a giving and loving person. She enjoyed music and shopping. She loved her dog, Bella Rain. She was a self-employed hairdresser and cosmetologist.
In addition to her mother, Valerie is survived by one son, Devin Lee Bentley of Irwinville; her grandmother, Wynell Black of Sylvester; her brother, Eric Willis of Moultrie, her sister-in-law, Lisa Willis of Adel; her mother-in-law, Karna Bentley; her niece and her husband, Morgan and Mason Bass of Moultrie; her nephew, Walker Willis of Adel; her uncles and their wives, Roger and Carmella Mercer of Sylvester, Darrell and Sherry Willis of Buena Vista and Mike Willis of Scooterville; her aunt and her husband, Regina and Stuart Jones of Sylvester; her cousins and their spouses, Michael Willis, Angel and Chris Powell, Adam and Christine Willis, Brandon and Natalie Willis, Jake and Allie Jones, Makenzie and Dylan Bellamy, Mason and Katherine Willis, Stephanie and Brett Sheheane and Kayla Stokes and Chris Mercer; and her very special dog, Bella Rain, that never left her side.
